From May 2024, candidates will only be able to access their FPH exam results through the new FPH Members Portal.
Please see the instructions below on how to do this.
Guidance For Candidates On How To Access FPH Examination Results
The Exam Coordinator will email candidates to notify them when the results have been released into the Members Portal.
Please note that although you will be able to see the overall outcome of your previous attempts, you will not be able to see results letters for sittings prior to May 2024.
The process for marking the Final Membership Exam will remain the same and therefore we do not anticipate that the timeframe for the communication of results will change. Your results will still be provided to you within 10 working days of the exam.
It is vital you arrive at the venue ready to sit your exam at the time given to you.
If you arrive after this time you will not be permitted to sit the exam.
Yes. Candidates may have a pen, note paper, and highlighter for making their own notes in the preparation time of the exam. They can use these during the examined time for their reference. All notes should be left in the examination station.
Yes. There will be a small digital table top clock in all of the circuit rooms (preparation and examination rooms). The clock has large digital display including seconds. Candidates are not permitted to bring their own personal timer.

You can find information on how to prepare through the 'Prepare' page in the Final Membership Exam section.
You will be permitted to leave your laptop/computer to use the bathroom after the briefing session has finished, but before the exam itself starts. You must ensure you are logged into the system by the instructed time. You will also be able to use the bathroom during the preparation stations if necessary. You will need to notify the invigilator you are connected to, and this will be recorded in their report. You will not be given any extra time should you chose to do this. No breaks will be permitted in the examination.
You will need to leave any drinks and snacks with your belongings in the briefing room or locker. Nothing may be taken onto the circuit unless through prior arrangement due to exceptional circumstances.
Water will be available in each room on the exam circuit.
The Faculty routinely asks all exam candidates to provide feedback on all aspects of the exam including the logistics on the day and the questions set. This feedback is then used to further develop the exam as required.
In event of a rail strike being held on the same day as an MFPH examination:
- all candidates and examiners will be contacted to find out if they are able to get to the venue via other means of transport, either on the day or the day before the exam.
- a plan will be formulated once the Exams Team have been able to gather all participant’s responses.
We recognise that this uncertainty is worrying and will keep in contact with all candidates to update them with the latest information.
We hope that the FAQs above answer the majority of queries. If you do have other concerns and questions please do not hesitate to get in touch by emailing educ@fph.org.uk
