Supporting vulnerable adults to live independently: rights, duties, dignity, quality standards and enforcement

The University of Staffordshire’s Centre for Health and Development (CHAD) and the Faculty of Public Health are delighted to invite you to this webinar with Cllr Sharon Thompson, Deputy Leader Birmingham City Council and West Midlands Combined Authority Board Member

Cllr Thompson has both lived and professional experience of homelessness.

In this webinar, Cllr Thompson’s discussion will consider the political, statutory and moral challenges of supporting vulnerable people and families including those with disabilities, addictions, a history of rough sleeping, victims of domestic violence and/or modern slavery, and former prisoners and care leavers.

This one hour-session will include:
