Poverty and the cost of living crisis – a public health emergency

On 9 May the Faculty is hosting, in partnership with RSPH, ADPH and the Royal Society of Medicine, a major one-day conference looking at poverty in the UK, the cost-of-living crisis, and how this impacts public health practice.
The day is being coordinated by the Faculty’s new Poverty Special Interest Group and will feature senior leaders from all four host organisations.
The keynote speaker will be Professor Sir Michael Marmot, Director of the UCL Institute of Health Equity.
