This joint webinar between the Office for Health Improvement & Disparities and the Faculty of Public Health is an opportunity to explore the Health Equity Assessment Tool (HEAT) and its application.
HEAT is a practical framework that enables multiple audiences to systematically identify and embed action on health inequity and equity in their work programme or service. It has similarities to other health equity assessment tools but is unique in providing a lighter yet systematic framework for assessing and driving action to reduce health inequalities across a variety of settings and contexts inside and outside of the health sector.
