FPH Bazalgette Lecture 2021

The Faculty of Public Health's Bazalgette lecture will be held on Wednesday 30 June from 17:00 to 18:30 by Zoom webinar.

We are pleased to announce that this year's lecture will be delivered by Professor Stephen Holgate, MRC Clinical Professor of Immunopharmacology, UKRI Clean Air Champion and Special Advisor to the RCP on Air Quality, who will be introduced by Professor Chris Whitty, Chief Medical Officer for England.

Professor Holgate is the Medical Research Council’s clinical professor of immunopharmacology and honorary consultant physician within medicine at the University of Southampton and current holder of the Bazalgette Professorship. The title of his lecture is "Everyone has a right to breathe clean air as they do to drink clean water".
